The new Terea sticks are designed to be used with the IQOS ILUMA One Kit, which features an auto start function that detects when a Terea stick is inserted and turns on the device automatically. The IQOS IQOS ILUMA heating mechanism is unique in that it uses a Smartcore Induction System to warm the tobacco from within the Terea sticks. As a result, the Terea sticks produce no tar. Instead, it produces an aerosol residue that is fundamentally different from tar and includes far less dangerous components. (Terea sticks contain nicotine however, which is addictive.) This bladeless IQOS ILUMA One Kit heats tobacco without burning it, providing a more safer and pleasurable smoking experience. Furthermore, they emit no ash or smoke and require no upkeep.
