The VMATE i2 is a slim, draw-activated pod kit from VOOPOO’s VMATE range. There are no buttons: you draw to fire, and the device matches its power to the fitted cartridge between 8W and 30W. That range covers a tight mouth-to-lung draw with a higher-resistance cartridge and a looser restricted direct-lung draw with a 0.4Ω cartridge, and the airflow slider fine-tunes it. The 256-colour RGB light bar is the indicator. The kit is sold as empty hardware: no e-liquid or nicotine is included. Which Pods Fit the VMATE i2?
The i2 takes the full VMATE pod family within its 0.4–3.0Ω range. The kit ships with one VMATE Top Fill Cartridge at 0.7Ω, holding 3ml and filled from the top side. As a guide: Higher resistances (1.0Ω and up): tight MTL draw at low wattage, for nicotine salts.
0.7Ω: a warmer MTL draw, still suited to salts.
0.4Ω: a looser RDL draw, for lower-strength freebase. For spares, see our VOOPOO VMATE pod cartridges. Battery and Charging
The 1500mAh battery charges over USB Type-C at 5V/1A. That is slower than the 5V/2A charging on the VMATE i3, so allow more time for a full charge. How long a charge lasts depends on the cartridge and how much you vape. Do not leave the kit charging in a hot car or in direct sun. UAE Rules for Pod Kits and E-Liquid
The VMATE i2 is sold empty, so it contains no nicotine. The rules apply to the e-liquid you fill it with. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018, which caps e-liquid nicotine at 20mg/mL (2%). From 1 September 2026, a minimum excise price of AED 1 per mL of e-liquid also applies. Sale is restricted to adults 21 and over. See our guide to vaping laws in Dubai and the UAE. AED 120 The i2 is the lowest-priced of the three and shares its battery size, airflow slider and 3ml cartridge with the i3. The i3 is lighter at 49.8g against 55.5g, charges faster and has the GENE AI 2.0 chip. How to Use the VMATE i2 Charge the kit over USB Type-C before first use.
Remove the cartridge and fill it through the top-side port, leaving a little space.
Refit the cartridge and wait about five minutes so the coil soaks.
Set the airflow slider to taste.
Draw gently to fire.
Refill before the e-liquid runs low. Never vape the cartridge dry. Troubleshooting Burnt taste on a new cartridge: the coil was not fully soaked. Wait longer after filling.
No vapour: charge the battery, reseat the cartridge and draw a little more firmly.
Leaking: do not overfill, and keep the kit upright when stored.
Flavour fading: replace the cartridge. Sweet e-liquids wear coils faster. Who the VMATE i2 Suits
It suits vapers who want a capable, button-free pod kit at a lower price. With a 30W ceiling and VMATE cartridges from 0.4Ω up, it works for both MTL and RDL. If faster charging and a lighter body matter, step up to the VMATE i3. How to Buy the VMATE i2 in the UAE
